Read Homecare was founded by Barbara & Randy Read after they had difficulty finding home care assistance for members of their own family.

Our Staff

Read Homecare ensures the skills and qualifications of our field staff employees by adhering to rigorous standards of assessment and evaluation. These processes and procedures apply not only during the hiring process, but throughout each individual’s employment with our organization. This kind of attention ensures that our customers receive high-caliber professional support. Every Read Homecare team member must satisfy a comprehensive list of qualifications and assessment processes before they are allowed to work with any of our clients.

Our experienced staff includes Certified Nursing Aides (CNA), home health aides, companions, and live-in personal care attendants who are English-speaking (multi-lingual staff are also available), well groomed, and professional.

Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are qualified to administer medications and perform certain medical procedures are available on an as-needed basis or around the clock.

As each caregiving situation is unique, the personality of each caregiver needs to be matched with each client. We take the strictest pre-employment screening measures to ensure that you will be matched with an experienced and compassionate home health aide dedicated to accommodating all your short-term and long-term needs. If at any time the client feels uncomfortable with their personal care attendant, we will happily make a change. Our clients’ needs always come first.

Rest assured that every person who works with Read Homecare meets the highest standards. We thoroughly screen everyone who works with us. Read Homecare conducts comprehensive background checks and drug screens for each person. Additionally, each person is interviewed in person and we check at least two references. Read Homecare caregivers, home health aides, and nurses are bonded and have workers’ compensation coverage.
